This conditional offer includes the following:

  • Disassembly and cleaning of the engine.
  • Visual inspection of all parts of the engine for determination of airworthiness.
  • Magnetic Particle Inspection of all rotating parts, including crankshaft gear and dowel parts.
  • Deyt Penetrant Inspection of both crankcase, eddy current, ultrasound, and X-ray, can also be used.
  • The dimensional inspection of crankshaft prop flange.
  • Quote of the parts that require replacement, repair.
  • Reassembly of the engine.
  • Testing of the engine by the FA Technics at its own facility.
  • Quote of the parts that require replacement, repair.

This conditional offer does not include include the following:

  • The replacement of extra unserviceable parts after disassembling, cleaning, measurement and inspection concerning the engine and its accessories.
  • For all the accessories that are included in the current offer, we need to receive the cores, otherwise charge for the cores will be applied.
  • The replacement of extra parts due to the modifications, which are appropriate according to the Service Bulletins of FAA AD'S. EASA.
  • Unless specified otherwise by the contract between the Parties, the offer is based upon the flat tappet engine modifications, if no serial number or exact other modification is provided.
  • Shipping expenses and any TAX exemptions.
  • Please note that the FA Technicsnics is not held responsible for any loss or damage occurring prior to the recipient of the aircraft, component, part, accessory.

* Supplemental parts of the engine and the accessories that need to be replaced or repaired to be determined after complete inspection of engine and performing Manufacturer's Publications. Please indicate if you want Lycoming genuine parts to be used only and which accessories you want to be installed.
** Please note your engine is preserved to withstand a period of 180 days under favorable conditions after the date of test run performed by the Flying Academy s.r.o. After this period the engine can be re-preserved for another 180 days upon customer request at an additional charge per test run.
