Aircraft Jacking Solutions - Flat Gear System - Nose Gear
The new design allows both nose gear and tailwheel aircraft to be raised by the landing gear with lift pads placed at the upper portion of the gear lags. The latter allows both wheels to be lifted together creating a stable much safer working environment. Built-in safety stops prevent unplanned lowering of the jack.
The cushioned Belly Pad lifting option allows aircraft to be lifted from below the gearbox bulkheads. Lifting the aircraft from below allows the mechanic to inspect the security of the upper gear at the gearbox and to investigate any play or movement.
- The jack is ideal for the following activities:
- Replace tires
- Upgrade tire size from 8.50 x 6 tire to up to 31 tires.
- Re-grease wheel bearings
- Replace brake pads
- Replace brake puck O rings
- Easily transition from wheels to skies and vise versa.
- Can easily place scales under main gear tires during aircraft weight & balance operations
- Replace Cessna flat gear box castings
- Replace Cessna round gear box bushings
- Service nose gear wheels, struts on singles and twins
- Servicing tail wheel assemblies
- Well suited for STC upgrades including installation of Snider Speed Kit
