Coleman Aero Vernatherm Wrench Tool

Have you ever rounded off an expensive vernatherm with a crows foot wrench due to difficult access? This tool helps avoid damaging vernatherms. It is purpose-built for 1.5 inch vernatherms, developed at the request of a shop servicing Cirrus TSIO-550 powered aircraft.

Cut from 1/4 thick AR500 steel to prevent deforming under heavy load, tested up to 130 ft-lbs. The tool features a 3/8 drive hole for use with ratchets, extensions, and torque wrenches. The head is 12 point for small turn resolution in confined spaces. This tool has also been tested and confirmed to clear the case on the Continental O-470 vernatherm and likely many other engines.
