Note: If the plastic is cold, it may be a little stiff, but should conform once it is on the pitot tube. It may help to warm up the molded part first, with a hair dryer or soaking it in hot water, then it should adapt to the tube. After it has been used a few times, it will probably take a "set" and retain the shape enough to make the installation easier.
