4 Way Indent (Octadent) Crimp Tool

Ratcheted hand crimp tool for certain solid D-subminiature contacts. *Contacts length must be 0.73 to 1.20 inch [18.542 to 30.480 mm]. For use with wire gauges 16 thru 22 AWG.

Works for all Tanis DT series connectors.

TOOL CALIBRATION INFORMATION REFERENCE: Use Minimum +-0.0005 Tolerance steel gage pins DO NOT CRIMP GAGE PINS. Close die (hold closed for maximum crimp); Then use gauge pins.

GO is 0.040 inch [1.016 mm] NO GO is 0.050 inch [1.27 mm] Minimum distance of crimp location to edge of pin is 0.001 inch. Minimum distance of crimp location to edge of witness hole is 0.001 inch.
